The ring sensors of IRS-type provide an internal amplifier with dynamic operating mode, compact design and high resolution. Tubes are available to protect the sensors against damage by metal parts falling through the ring sensor. The sensor can be mounted directly by a bolt on the housing.
- There are a lot of possibilities using a proximity switch, e.g. for position control as pneumatic limit sensor, trimming punch and for band end control with feeders.
- Ring sensors are preferred for detecting metal parts in oil mist ambiance, e.g. for ejection control of metal stampings in pressrooms.
